does a window appear on the computer saying your psp has just connected to it cuz i dont want them knowing im using their connection
also can i connect straight to a router without going through the pc?

u dont connect thru their pc if they've got a wireless router. They wont know that ur on their router unless they have specialist software...Also u will only be able to access the router if they dont have an encrypted(eg. WEP or WPA) signal.
