okay im using a mac with tomato torrent my psp is at 3.52(official update not custom) i downloaded a torrent of the transformers game from scrape torrent and unziped all the crap now im left with a file called transformers with a folder called PSP_GAME and a file called UMD_DATA.BIN in it but i don't know how to put it on the psp without it saying corrupted data how the hell do i get this to work?

Ok I have a psp with 1.5 firmware a 2gb memory card and a downloaded game from utorrent and from bitlord.com...I am using both to find a way to do this ...How do you get the downloaded game from the torrent site to your psp...step by step instructions would be nice because I am an idiot....oh also do you need an emulator or a media manager to do this and what do you reccommend....thanks It can't be as simple as just plugging in your psp to your pc please help

to put games onto psp 1st download azureus which is a download manager...then from www.torrentreactor.net download a game...when the game is downloaded right clik it & open it using azureus..and then its gonna download it again..afta that u have to download winrar which will convert the game(which is rar format) to iso or cso..nd then transfer it 2 memorystick ( devhook)

ok, first off: if you don't know how to do it, don't sit around here and bitch. there are plenty of websites that can walk you through the process step by step. here it is from me:
1. YOU HAVE TO HAVE A CUSTOM FIRMWARE! Sony's official updates will NOT allow you to download and play games. Don't screw yourself and waste time downloading if you aren't downgrading your firmware.
To downgrade from 3.50 and lower: you need a copy of lumines and you need to search youtube for the "illuminati exploit". A video tutorial will come up showing you EXACTLY how to downgrade your psp.
2. When it is downgraded, you will need to place your psp iso files in the folder titled "ISO". Pretty easy, yes? If you have successfully installed a custom firmware and you are placing your iso files in this folder, you should be able to boot up your psp, go to the memory stick icon in your games tab, and start the game from your memstick.

It means you need to downgrade/upgrade your firmware for you to play the game. Most downloaded games play on 1.5.. some will play on firmware above/below!

ha ha ha you don't know how to put games into psp even my youngest brother {7 years old} can put games on that psp. for all stupid's sake i will say it to you all.
1.make sure you have a 3.71 m33 {because i am not sure that it will work in other custom firmware version} version of your psp
2.download games in www.pspower.us register first to have many list
3.if there is no iso folder in your root directory of the psp {removable disk} , make one
4.put all games with extension name cso/iso in the iso while the ps1 games in the psp/game with the folder of the game
"known errors"
the game cannot be started {#####}-go to recovery menu {custom firmware is must} got to configuration change kernel 1.50 to higher
when you start the game a black screen will appear and then the memory will stop reading-go ti recovery menu change configuration no umd m33

I have v3.71 M33 and have pretty much done everything that has been stated. I have no idea whats happening. My settings are right, my files are saved in the right area and I'm still getting 'corrupted data' - very annoying. Could it be that when I downloaded the ISO/CSO file, win.rar extracted the file???? I tried changing it back to ISO using PowerISO but it still says corrupted data. Argh - I hate all this nerdy stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I have changed the homebrew to 1.50 kernal in recovery mode but still cant get the game to do anything else but say currupt data, i have verison 3.40 OE-A which should be good.
