Re: Help! UK PSP or Jap PSP!!

i recently purchased a psp from japan and i am extremely satisfied with the overall package. UMD region 2 and games work from anywhere in the world, Socom has been out ages in US and costs20 quid at walmart. There are however a few drawbacks. You will be unable to register your psp officially in europe because of a model number and serial number that are not recognised by Sony Europe. If you understand japanese then filling in the registration form included isn't a problem, nor would visiting the japanese website of sony. You may ask, why the hell should i register my psp?. Well, you don't have to register but sony's official psp site yourpsp.com is an excellent tool and more than just a novelty. It allows you to download updated software, free game demos, music videos and tv exerts for free, problem is, only if you're a registered psp owner. The prices are also the same, bearing in mind, delivery and insurance charges when shipping. I would say buy UK.!
