How much memory?

What are people's thoughts are on what memory stick you'll be buying/have bought.
I'm tempted for the one gig but it is a bit expensive - would I be able to fit a dvd onto a 512mb? I have all the software, I just need a new dvd drive for my laptop before I can test it out.
And even if I can will I have to take the game saves off to fit it on? It seems a better idea to get a 1gb in that case.
Just wondering what any of you thought and where you buy your memory from? I've found a 512mb for £44.67 including delivery and a 1gb for £91.50 delivered. Thanks

Ad, I'm in the same predicament. However I only have the 32mb bundled card and managed to fit about twenty mins on the 32mb card so with this maths you should easliy fit a dvd onto a 512mb.
What you need is either dvd Shrink or DVD decrypt, both of which you can use to cut of all the extra's of the DVD like the japanese subtitles or the producers comments etc....
Then use 3GP convertor to make it into the mp4 format to transfer over.

I went for a 1GB stick - Er, just because. I couldn't get a 2GB stick, and the expected price at that time was WAY too much, even for me. I was opting for a 512MB card, but then thought about saves and MP3s and pictures and anything else I might slap on it - Better safe than sorry. A tad on the expensive side still.
